KMKS and KMKU bonding composite materials on the base of adhesive prepregs

Application:
- for the production of highly loaded honeycomb structures of glass (KMKS) and CFRPs (KMKU), including those ones, which are of radio-technical designation and the structures with typical and complex-shaped curvature, operating at the temperatures from -130 to +120°C per one technological operation;
- for repairing the honeycomb and laminated structures of  aerospace engineering products.

Processing method
BCM materials are processed by the autoclave, vacuum or direct molding methods. The curing temperature (from 130 to 175°C) and pressure (from 0.08 to 0.8 MPa) depend on a structure, processing method, adhesive matrix properties and filler behaviour.

There is a wide range of BCMs with their peculiar adhesive matrix composition and filler structure.

As compared to the conventional GFRPs and CFRPs, the BCM application allows to increase:
- structure sealing by 10 times;
- cracking resistance by 40-60%;
- interlaminar shear strength by 20-50%;
- fatigue strength and stress rupture by 20-35%.
