VT22 high-strength alloy with the strength to 1250 MPa and high calcinations ability (to 200 mm) for large-size primary airframe structures.
VT22I alloy is designed for the isothermal deformation under the superplacticity conditions.
VT23 high-strength alloy is of the wide application. The production technology of die and hand forgings with the weight to 3.5 t and the strength more than 1100 MPa, the high-temperature (thermal) machining and textural hardening processes were developed for the production of spheric bottles with σb>1300 MPa and tubes with various cross-sections.
VT16 alloy gave a possibility to develop the high-efficient and effective technological production process “cold-upset” fasteners. In ensures the higher specific fatigue strength (by 1.5 times) as compared to 16HSN steel.
Forged and welded
VT32, VT35 high-technological weldable pseudo-β-alloys with the strength to 1200 MPa are recommended for the production of large-size forged and welded complex-shaped structures including honeycomb ones. They are capable of hardening at the heat treatment in vacuum furnaces (or in the protective atmosphere).
