Cemented and Wear-Resistant Steels for Reducer and aggregate parts

VKS-7 steel with the high hardenability and strength (1400 MPa) allows to produce the cemented layers with the depth of 2-2.5 mm and the hardness of 60 HRC; it possesses the high contact durability at the temperatures to 20°C. The steel is universal one; it ensures the high complex of physico-mechanical properties in the cemented, nitrified and modified states.

VKS-7 steel reducer gear

VKS-10 thermally-strong steel (σb=1300 MPa) has the hardness of ≥60 HRC after carburizing and ensures the operation ability at 450°C (long-term) and to 550°C (short-term) with the high reliability.

VKS-14 wear-resistant high-carbon steel, used without any chemical-thermal treatment for the production of small-module gear wheels, friction pairs, instruments. It ensures the high values: ≥60 HRC (throughout the cross-section), σ-1=870 MPa and wear-resistance of Jwear=0.75·10-8 (by 1.5-2 times higher, than after the carburizing for the depth of 0.4-0.7 mm).
